"I liked the competitive rates offered from a well established and respected insurance company. "STATE FARM AUTO INSURANCE PUNISHES VICTIMS OF ACCIDENTS BY CANCELING THEIR INSURANCE FOR "TOO MANY CLAIMS", EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT AT FAULT IN ANY OF THOSE CLAIMS. WORSE YET, ONCE CANCELED BY STATE FARM, NO OTHER MAJOR INSURER WILL COVER YOU, BECAUSE OF STATE FARM'S FICTIONAL "HIGH RISK" DESIGNATION, EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING TO CREATE ANY INCREASED RISK TO THEM OR ANY OTHER AUTO INSURER. YOU THEN ARE AT THE MERCY OF PREDATORY INSURERS OF LAST RESORT THAT CHARGE TWO OR EVEN THREE TIMES YOUR FORMER CAR INSURANCE RATE. AND THEN, WHEN YOU ARE FORCED TO PAY THESE PREDATORY RATES BECAUSE STATE LAW REQUIRES THAT YOU HAVE AUTO INSURANCE, YOU ARE AFRAID TO MAKE ANY CLAIM AT ALL, FOR FEAR OF LOSING YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE YET AGAIN. WHAT'S THE POINT OF PAYING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS A YEAR FOR AUTO INSURANCE IF YOU CAN'T FILE CLAIMS, EVEN AS A VICTIM? THE AUTO INSURANCE IS RIGGED AGAINST US. STATE FARM AND IT'S PARTNERS IN CRIME ARE CORRUPT PREDATORS. THEY ADD INSULT TO INJURY, EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE SUFFERED THE HARDSHIPS RESULTING FROM CLAIMS WHERE OTHER DRIVERS WERE AT FAULT. -------------- Ms. O'Brien's reply is noted, but it is also important that consumers know that State Farm's Agents and Claims Department use the convenient excuse that they have no power within their own company and blame everything on the evildoers in State Farm's Underwriting Department -- even after acknowledging that the majority of claims were paid by the insurers of those who caused the damages. And the claim they cited in canceling our policy was for a cracked windshield caused by a stone that flew up from a truck on the highway. We were told that someone in State Farm's Underwriting Department would call us personally to explain their decision, but of course no one ever did, even though the Agent and Claims Department did call us personally to say there was nothing they could do to help with Underwriting's decision. We were also told that Underwriting had previously "Warned Us" in a letter that if more claims were filed our policy would be canceled, but of course we never received that letter and no one seemed to be able to find it at State Farm when we requested a copy. Instead we later received an impersonal, convoluted letter from Underwriting that did not address any facts of our situation, instead citing Underwriting's "responsibility" to protect the "profitability of the company." ... Profitability over fairness, or even any consideration of a customer who had been with State Farm for decades. State Farm Is NOT on Your Side."

"I highly recommend working with Alexis Bunting at Kelly O’Brien State Farm! We are new to the area and Alexis took the time to educate us on what to look for when choosing an insurance provider, and also discussed her first hand knowledge on flood risks in the area. "Since switching over to State Farm about a year ago, I have had nothing but excellent service from the local office in Myrtle Beach. Kelly O’Brien’s office. Her staff there, particularly Molly, has been phenomenal. Molly has talked me off the ledge( joking of course)a couple of times. With all insurances going through the roof in the last 2-3 years, it really has me freaked out. My driving record, along with my wife, is impeccable-on top of the fact that we are not spring chickens…lol Molly spent a lot of time with me, patiently explaining why. I am grateful for her time and her expertise. I really feel like she was treating me the same way she would her own dad. That meant a lot. Molly, you are a wonderful, professional, caring person!
